Ilala Lodge is a good base within walking distance of the falls

1 day is enough to see the falls in the dry season as the Sambian side will remain dry

Strong winds create a lot of spray - the more water, the wetter it will be

Can recommend Roger Turski from Safari Lifestyles as responsive and reliable

Lagoon and Kwara Lodge are both well situated in the private Kwando concession allowing off-roading and night drives

Access to Chobe NP is public and therefore sightings tend to get busy

Wildlife can be seen at the watering hole of Desert & Delta’s Savute Safari Lodge day and night

Safari vehicles are shared with 2-4 other guests

Timing to get out in the morning depends on when everyone had breakfast - often after sunrise, e.g. 6:15 am
