Linyanti
The remote Linyanti Swamps and River are a permanent source of water and therefore one of the key destinations for wildlife in the dry season
Private concessions allow for off-roading and night drives to track and observe wildlife up-close
Access is by small charter plane from Kasane or Maun or any other camp sites within range
Savuti
The Savuti channel can dry up for decades. Savuti is for the most time a harsh, yet wildlife rich environment famous for its Lions hunting elephants
Although Savuti is a less crowded corner of the Chobe NP than the riverfront, it gets busy. Off-roading is not permitted. Public access is from 5:30/6:00 am to 6:30/7:00 pm - depending on the season
Okavango Delta
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Okavango River disperses into the largest inland delta on earth, creating permanent marshlands and seasonally flooded plains
The flooding of the Okavango river occurs during the dry season, as it takes some 3 months for the water to flow down from Angola. The dry season is from April to October
